I like creating functional stuff, replacement parts, things that save gadgets from getting thrown away because some minor plastic part you didn't even notice until now got lost or just disintegrated somehow.

I fall for the illusion that with a 3d printer anybody one day will be able to make their own spare parts and plastic-based gadgets for almost no money with free software and maybe even from recycled plastic bottles... while actually I waste kilograms of exotic - probably toxic - plastic for printing prototypes over prototypes to eventually achieve a semi-functional flimsy goop that with some imagination resembles what it's actually supposed to replace.

Sharing my clumsy designs with the people of the internet is an attempt of convincing myself that this is just an intermediate step, that every published .stl is a valuable proof of concept, teaching lessons and inspiring real designers with their real intentions for making this world a better place.

I also like writing cheesy lines.
