Just added V2 of our lens hood design for CANON EF/EFS 58 mm diameter lenses.
This one has a stepped inner surface and does a better job at blocking light.
@thesambu_636584 Sure! it's a pleasure. This one comes in super handy, we have a bunch of them around the house. Thank you for sharing your print!
@furriosity_496391 thanks! Glad you like it!
@NickR_1754206 they look very cute in that smaller size! Thanks for sharing the make. We were afraid of making them smaller because they could be hard to print, but yours came out perfect!
@Filip_1640411 Thank you for the feedback!
@fersanhu_133615 Wow looks even cooler using the textured print bed! Thanks for sharing the print
@twothingies great design!!!
Hey how did you place the stand on the bed to print without supports?
@MagnusFaanes_1228848 Hi! You just need to print the parts in the provided orientation. The Stand prints on a side, so no supports are required, just an inner brim if you want to improve adhesion.
@me_strange so cool! They came out great! Thanks for sharing the photos.
I really like the shape of these for my macropad. I had to scale to 103% to get it to fit on my keys and then the stem caught some when pressed. Might also be just my setup and print settings.
Very happy with how this turned out with Black & Gray. I modified the design, to mount along the side of the PS5.
@Long_1842916 Looks great! thank you for sharing the photo of your print. I would be a little concerned about the strength of the hook for attaching it to the PS5, but judging by the photo it seems to be working just fine!
@twothingies you're right, the strength of the hook was certainly questionable, so I did some post processing by reinforcing the joint with CA-glue.
It's held up pretty well as a result. Thanks for the design
@Amos491 thanks for the feedback! The prints came out great in white!
@twothingies It just occurred to me. I am going to need you to commit to making a PS6 version in couple of years, ok?
We just updated our Lens Cap Holder model! We've included 200 files with different lens sizes and openings for different camera strap widths! We used a Python script to create and export all the variations of our Fusion 360 model.
Thank you :)
