I started with the MakerGear M2 printer and Fusion 360. Then more recently bought an X-Carve CNC and a K40 CO2 laser which I upgraded with a Smoothieboard controller. Throw in a bit of a Festool addiction, some playing around with Raspberry Pi/Arduino/ESP8266 and no sense of what's reasonable and I've built a pretty decent private makerspace.
