hey,
how did you mount the screen to the case? i don't see any screwholes?

@moddok_172619 oh there’s no special mechanism. You just need to push it and it should snug fit

If you are using this for USB-C version, the opening for USB-C is too small. I had to shave it a bit. And the hinges on the back plate, are they supposed to grip on the thicker part of backbone extender? If so, either back plate needs to be a bit shorter or the hinges need to be a bit more far apart. I took out the adopters on either end and they still do not grab the thick part of the extender.

hey! this looks great. I unfortunately don't have the Type C version and there some to be some dimension differences from my version. And the hinges thing on the back is supposed to snap on to the thicker part. I anticipated such differences between version so have upload a STEP file for easier editing. Hope that helps!

@SALIHDURAN_884861 it depends on your door. As suggested, try placing the stopper under the door first and they work backwards to find the height it’ll not stretch it.

This is a genious design. I was searching for a door holder which will stay on my door and dont have to push it around if i want to close it. Thank you very much.

@DrRandom_1008813 after using it for a couple of days, there is one down side of the model. If i open the door very fast it will fall to the floor. Need some kind of a lock mechanism.

Overall, great print! Thank you very much for altering it for the MK3S+ as well. I took a video of it running on my printer as well to share with my family, link below if interested.

I did notice the hole in the extrude cover looks to be slightly off center, but it doesn't impact functionality (picture below). I printed in Prusament PETG Ultramarine Blue Transparent, .20 heights .4 nozzle. I printed all the pins as towers before remembering you said not to do that...and the base lock pin didn't fit well, so I reprinted laying flat with a 3mm brim and it worked much better. I used a small exacto knife to clean the holes and chamfer slightly for a nice rotation. All is working well now. The rotary arm seating all the way was nice and tight, but would hit the pump holder as it rotated. When I left a small gap in the magnet drive, it wasn't as tight as I would like, but super glue fixed that quickly.

@Smily0_217896 Thank you so much for the video and feedback. I've fixed the center hole being a little off. Hopefully, it still works. The depth of the magnet drive might be more for the MK3S+ causing the arm to hit the holder.
I think there 3 more ways to fix that: just scaling the rotary pin 1-2mm longer or reducing the holder thickness should help with the issue or last way would be to use two magnets on top of each other. But really glad you got it working. Working with smaller parts like this is really tricky :)

I appreciate you! By no way was I complaining, just hoping to give some constructive feedback. I don't honestly think I'll change anything. It's working great as-is with those minor tweaks...which...is what 3d printing is all about. Thanks again!

Hi! Does it work on Ender 3 Pro? I've upgraded my printer so now i have a Sprite Pro for extruder and thats what i'm looking to mod.

I think the size of the pins need to be adjusted, they are a bit too short and will not open smoothly after being forced to snap on.

It looks really neat and I like the opening mechanism, but several features depend on the friction between printed parts to not fall open or fall out immediately. In my case, these had to be printed and adjusted several times and still wear out very quickly.

awesome idea! unfortunately the iPhone max's are too big to fit in the backbone with those extension adapters :( not much that can be done about that though

Printed in white PLA on my Ender 3 V2.
First, I printed alle parts with 100% scale, but the tolerances are too tight and the dove tail joint doesn’t fit. I seperated the parts in the slicer and reprinted the back rod in 96% (height and depth to 96%, leave the width at 100%). It is fine now, but I recommend 97% if somebody else tries it again. Thanks for the nice remix!
