How much infill did you use in your models?
How much infill did you use in your models?
@nzalog thank you about to print it in rapid PETG
@Sickboy_93091 PETG might be a challenge since there is a lot of bridging. Probably good idea to use lots supports for the overhangs instead of trying to bridge.
Printed on a modify Ender 3 Pro (Hemera hotend, ezabl, linear rails on x,y,z 32 bit board etc) 150mm/s, 30% infill, .2 layer height, tree support, Elegoo rapid PETG 235C hotend , 50C bed (edited)
love it! Thank you!
Any chance you could design a 6 bin divider?
@Stephen_258539 I spent about an hour trying to split into 6 but unfortunately I'm really rusty with doing CAD work and I ran into some issues that basically make most my effort useless. It seemed simple but there are a lot of little details to consider. If I have more brain power one of these days, they I'll try again.
@Stephen_258539 OK, looked at it again today and I was able to get it done. Added the file 'IRIS Bin divider 6-way.stl'
ENJOY!
would you consider sharing step file? i need to change the angles a bit, for orbiter 2 support.
Thank you so much. This is exactly what I was looking for.
I was having real difficulty getting the print to stick in the orientation you pictured. I found success by rotating it as pictured, and letting SuperSlicer auto-generate the supports.
Thanks! I kept having wires break in my old V2.4 due to the cable chains being overloaded. This print allowed me to install CANbus on the existing setup and get back to printing without going to the hassle of a full toolhead replacement. Now when I get around to doing the toolhead, the wiring and EBB36 setup will already be done.
@BadMouth_261963 Yeah that was my struggle too, I didn't want to do too much at once and this let me do one change at a time.
This is what I did once I went to CW2 (though maybe there are better options now):
