Super handy and fun to fidget with! I use these locks with shoes and sweatpants most of the time. They grip laces like a 🦍. Can't wait to challenge them on a camping trip.
Printed in Opal Green Prusament PLA on my Bambu Lab P1P.
Great job!

Amazing design to print. This video will help you to see the function of this model: https://youtu.be/m115SD6JK_A
It looks really great but I can't get it to print in bambu slicer
@Toast I don't have a bambu printer so i don't know if there are any workarounds, but it seems that their slicer has a different implementation of tree supports and tries to start them in mid-air. Try using the latest beta of prusasicer (there is no bambu profile but for this you can just manually enter the bed size and temp) https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/releases/tag/version_2.6.0-beta2 (edited)
Printed with fillamentum 98a.
Excellent result, this is working at first print.
I’ve used the recommended magnet with your affiliate link. Hope you will get your commission.
Thanks for the design
Nicely done with the buttons. I design a lot of my own prints, and I really like how you did that.
@PaulJohnson_917235 thank, feel free to use that technique any time ;)
@Leka1B Are you using it to take phone calls while gaming on another device? xD
@neoyarus if only this phone had parsec so i could game on the toilet with style
Tolerance between the notch and clip was too tight. The hinge snapped trying to get the notch to click in place.
The simplicity was as described. No gymnastics need to install.
Your bag has to be in good shape at the open end to make the 1 cm or so you have for the bag to engage. My bag was a bit longer than 100mm and as with most bag clips the slightest resistance on the long part tends to spread the length and it eventually takes on its new curved shape.
The hinges, clip and cap work great.
I printed the .3mm 100mm PETG from your gcode file. Some strands pulled away on the curve but not enough to interfere with operations.
Printed very well and works just fine. Didn't have 7x1 mm magnets at hand so I used 6x2.5 mm magnets. They are maybe a little to strong, but all in all it works well.
I miss the button on the backside, maybe I'll try to integrate it into the design. Thanks a lot for the model!
@Carroll_226725 I'm ready happy that this was helpful! it should definitely be possible to add a button to this. Mine broke off from the PCB almost immediately after i bought the earbuds. I was unable to resolder it, so i got used to living without it. (edited)
Thanks for the model, very nicely detailed. I really liked your story about spending several weeks designing a new case instead of buying a replacement, exactly what I would have done.
I wanted to use the magnet and metal plate that was in the original case so I modded your files to fit it. Also props for making it smaller than the OG.
Thank you for sharing.
Nice design. Easy to print in general. Lock is a bit tight, so i was worry if hinge can handle the pressure. Scratched a "fixing blob" a bit with a knife to make it looser. Works so far)
Printed for the bag clip collection) (edited)
Neat! A bit hard to find the right length, but still nice and useful. Thanks!
Excellent design, printed flawlessly with PLA. Moved freely right off the bat.
Unfortunately, do not have the correct size magnet, i got like 5 different, but everyone designs with different sizes. Ordered them from Aliexpress tho.
This is 8 segment one for those curious about the sizes. This is rather small, which is good to know.
Great design.
