I have a C8 XLT. Is there any difference in the outer structure of the tube between the C8 XLT and the CD Edge HD, or are they the same? I would like to print your dew shield but I have this doubt. Do you have any information about this? Thanks.

I needed to file the inner part since there's a protruding screw on the top of the telescope that did some friction; my Dremel with a tungsten carbide grinding stone did the trick. The screws are printed 98%, as at 100% they fit too tight. The inner part is covered in black velvet adhesive sheet, as suggested. Aside the protruding screw mentioned, the shield is perfect also for the XLT version of the optical tube. (edited)
