Like the mod. Tough to get the fit just right. Had to scale the pin a bit.

Great work, thank a lot ! I wanted to design myself but you already done the job :-)
To improve the model, I change the BaseHeightNominal to make sure that the height is at least the magnetic height. I also add 0.2mm to the magnetic outer diameter wich have no slack (edited)
Simply awesome! :-)
@BikeCyclist Thank you!
Thanks for sharing! So glad I stumbled upon this. I was going to buy a Magview but didn’t like that it couldn’t use MagSafe, silly shortcoming.
Going to give this a go for my Vortex Vipers.
That looks really impressive, especially the extensive documentation!
One suggestion from my experience with a similar adapter for spotting scopes: I put a radius on the corners of the cut in the clamp to avoid avoid potential wear of the eyepiece rubber (due to the sharp edges digging into the rubber while the screw is being tightened). Maybe worthwhile on your design, too?
And I'm curious about the species of the birds in the pictures :-)
@BikeCyclist That's a clever design! Less wear-and-tear on the eyecups if you're not taking the holders on and off, too.
The concept is something to consider for v2 or a remix.
I can imagine how it would work with this parametric design. For the ultimate back-and-forth capability between adapter and no adapter, it's more important for the user to consider how far out they would like their eyecups unscrewed for their eyes/glasses and adjust the Eye Relief parameter accordingly. There would be more bulk at the top of the eyecup holders for the magnets and it would need to be recessed so that the eyecup holders wouldn't interfere with the user's face. It may be difficult to avoid interference with holders on both eyecups - this is design decision I made to keep the holder from twisting on the one eyecup.
Thank you for the link! (edited)
@BikeCyclist I've updated the model per your suggestion. Thank you, again!
