quick easy print, works exactly as advertised! Thanks
This model is brilliant. It uses a rounding error's worth of filament, are dead simple to print, and keeps me from recrimping my cables every 10 insertions (I got a pack of horrible quality connectors. at least they were dirt cheap and pass-throughs)
Plugging the modified cable in is more confidence inspiring than any stock connector I have ever used
I don't even think I need to bother with zip ties. I just used a drop of superglue and I don't think it's coming off anytime soon.
I printed these two initially just to test, and I liked them so much that a have a batch of 36 more printing right now to have on hand
It mostly works, but I have a problem where it gets stuck when the stopper beads and the joining link gets to the gear. The motor stalls, but if I command it to go up/down again it is able to overcome it. Any tips?
@prusauser_93920 You need to get a longer chain or one without a joiner (they are available)
Hi @mattala, is there any scope to make an even stronger version for very heavy blinds? My blind is about 2.5m long and the motor struggles to wind it up even with the verystrong model.
@tangcla_587278 Possible, but you end up with less grip as there are less beads in contact. If you need a sample, let me know
@mattala this superstrong seems to work just fine (for now) - thanks so much!!
