Nice design! Loved the simple cross support / base. It printed ok. Used a .6 nozzle. The vertical print orientation causes horiz. ridges/print lines. Have to be careful inserting/removing records - the vertical rests are close together and could scuff the record grooves unless the record is carefully inserted. Might redesign this to have a Horiz. orientation which would cause the print lines to be vertical, not horiz. (edited)
Filled in one support because our shelves have a single top support wire— then realized that ours flex way too much because of that. Thanks though
I printed both variations of these - my intention is to use them not with a router table, but connected to my shop vac whilst I’m rotary or hand sanding. I’m in the process of selecting suitable magnets to fasten the print to my workbench when it is in use.
Really nice print, no problems at all, just needed supports for the outer edges and for inside in the offset one - printed with the large aperture at the bottom in PETG. Spot on thanks!
Exactly what I needed for the router table, thank you! Tried running no support on centered model, but it failed about 30 minutes in. I think it's more to do with running the HF PETG (Elegoo) faster than normal PETG, not the model itself. Once I put a brim around the base (printed on Bambu X1C PEI Textured Plate), it came out perfect! Saved to print a couple more down the road. Interested in trying the magnet idea from one of the other comments. Thanks again!
