Printed mine with PETG, and these are GREAT, even though it took over 14hrs to print. Dovetail joints are extremely tight-fitting and I had to file them down to get them to come together.
How does the Large box (w/two dovetails) attach? There is no place on the Keter Folding Worktable to place two holders side-by-side? (edited)
@dm72skidoo_1689536 hello, thank you for feedback. sorry for very late reply, I found your comment now. I printed them on my printer without any troubles. fit well into the slider, but I understand your point. to be honest, I printed it only once from PLA, so I have not tested PETG.
about the connection, you have right. there is only one holder on side. I made the hole for both side of box, because sometimes I need to move them out due some cutting etc... you know, working on table :)
After many many MANY frustrating attempts, I gave up. I cannot secure the dovetail connector to the table in the manner suggested. I can embed the M5 nuts into the connector, but my main problem (and there was a lot of swearing over this!) is there is absolutely NO clearance whatsoever underneath the table to use a screwdriver of any configuration to fasten the M5 bolts from the backside. Further, I notice the connectors do not seat flush against the recessed surface on the edge, so there is too much play in them and they would loosen over time. I wish there was a reversed version to fasten the bolts through from the *inside* of the box with the nuts (and probably needs a washer) on the underside of the table edge. The bolt holes would need to be countersunk into the box for clearance and neatness…? What do you think?
@dm72skidoo_1689536 sorry for late reply. I just found the comment. you have right, I had also some struggling to secure the screws but I sucesfully finished it.
you have a good idea. I will try to find the files for update
@ksindl Fantastic, I would be happy to test the new version for you.
