My first 3d printer was a Rostock Max V2 in 2014. Prior to that I build a CNC machine. The Rostock was great for the time - huge and fast. But it was a pain to keep operating. It has been a few years since I've used it. In 2023 after much soul searching I bought a Bambu X1C. And it is a great printer that removes almost all of the pain from printing. (It is sad that the bambu lab company is such crap...) I do all my modelling in OpenSCAD, and I usually publish those files as well.
