I am a hobbyist designer and printer!

A couple of things I try to do when creating designs...

1 - as long as it does not compromise the design, I design to print while avoiding the need for supports (45 degree angles vs chamfer for example).

2 - STLs should be oriented when you download as they should be printed

3 - Design to use common hardware sizes so a user should be able to source hardware locally

4 - minimize unique hardware requirements so finished products are as accessible as possible

5 - encourage remixing and putting back in to this community I've gotten so much out of.
