I love the idea. Could you make more detailed instructions on how to build this? It would also be great if there was a version of the side panel file with the holes already in it. It would really help me (and likely others) building this.
@einsjakob_2056613 Thanks. If you have Fusion 360 or any other CAD program you can open the f3d or step file and see all of the details of all of the parts. Also, if you follow the link to the originalfile for the enclosure there is a lot of detail on the panels as well. If you don't have Fusion you can download it for free at autodesk.com. Look for the maker license version. The file also includes templates that can be used to locate the proper location of the mounting holes for the hinge mounts. Hope that helps.
This gave me enough of a idea to finish it myself
The main side blocks worked pretty well
the Lid mounting is still a work in progress
I got my enclosure kit from a guy on aliexpress. I've been very happy with it but the plexi is thin
I added some 80mm long supports to the lid to re-enforce it a little
I recommend using double sided tape to stick/fit everything before you start making holes ALSO note that the main side blocks have to have a few millimeters of gap from the edge of the lid or the inside block will have to be cutdown (learned that one myself) I had to shave about 3mm's off the inside block to fit it up but its all good.
I gave it 3 star because it is unfinished and leaves a little to the end use to figure out and cad up themselves. (edited)

Thanks for the comments. They are all fair. It is somewhat a work in progress. However, it does work. I would also like to find a bit stronger hinges. If you found a better option please let me know.
