Works fine for cables that are not to thick or too long (e.g. phone charging cables).
is it possible for you to provide the solid model file (fusion/solidworks/STEP) to allow easier modification of this? It looks great, but I'd like to remove the label, extra bins, and make it the same height as the other trays in my drawer. Looks like you have a good model for the base of the G502 though!
@ccheese4_893457 I export in STL from Sketchup. I’ve recently started using Fushion 360. When I get a chance I will try and import the STL there and save it out as a Fusion360 file for you.
@gedeyenite_511167 hey man, I appreciate it. I can probably do that though, so don’t go through any extra effort for me. Fusion (at least the free version) struggles with meshes. Last time I tried it though was on a much larger and more complicated mesh, so it might do fine with this one. I just figured I’d try and get a hold of the solid model before trying to work with the mesh. Thanks though!
Thank you. We have two sets of Alex drawers, you saved the day after printing two sets of the original files and one didn't fit. These fit and match perfectly.
Printed in Cookiecad Lavender PLA at 0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle.
@Onelostcause They look nice. I still need to finish printing all of mine. I changed gears to working on single spool dry boxes for a while.
I am glad they worked out and that is why I shared my remix. I figured there must have been a change in the ALEX design since those handles were published.
