Looking great!!
This is a helpful print since I stocked up on these magnetic bars from Harbor Freight last month. These are the most frequently used hand tools available within arm's reach at my workbench. I also like the red tape suggestion to spot missing tools. The magnetic bar is mounted on a French Cleat backer board.
Printed in Inland Petg at 25% infill. 80% infill seemed a bit much for this filament, @ 25% they are still quite strong. They fit my Rigid shop vac perfectly. This is a great solution to build a shop vac cart.
Printed in ASA with 0.6mm nozzle, 0.3mm layer height and 25% infill. Fit was perfect.
I cut the 2" PVC pipe 34" long, which left a little over two inches of clearance between my vacuum and the bucket after adding the adapters. On my vacuum, the PVC pipes were 19" (482.6 mm) apart measuring outside-to-outside at the bottom, so I drew a 19" square and mounted the flanges so that the PVC pipe would touch the 19" square on two sides (tangent). The flanges linked from the original video are about two times the diameter the PVC pipe, so they sit outside that square, but it's easy to line up the inside hole on the lines of the square.
I used 287mm (11.3 inches) for the bucket holder diameter. Rounded the corners to 20mm radius and used a 1/4" roundover bit to break the outside edges.
I bought my Duststopper a while ago and I don't remember them selling it in a kit with two 90° sweeps. The 36" hose that came with my kit is not quite long enough to reach from the vacuum to the bucket on top so I purchased their 90° sweep. I added it next to the vacuum and that gave it just enough to reach and likely improved airflow. (edited)
