When printed with clear filament, it truly shines, reflecting the lights on the tree and creating a magical, frosty effect. This elegant snowflake holds a special place in my heart as my favorite motif for our decorations. Printed scale 60% - still enough place for my wire hook. Thank You! (edited)
It looks greate in translucent filament!
Don't know why I didn't think of that...

Looking good!

@chregaud_1573771 I thank you. The flake is beautifully flexible and light. I have a small tree, so I made the model smaller.
I don't know what to do but in orco it doesn't want to print these overhanging elements from the columns, it prints them from the air and the print is rejected. I think this is because the outer rings are separated from the model.
Still managed to print, but gives an error that the layers are suspended in the air. Looks good but seems stretched. I would add printing of the top as a separate model and make another form. Could not convert to a solid body to work in a familiar program since the model consists of several separate bodies :( (edited)
It turned out very nice but has a slightly egg-like shape. While it looks elegant, its unique form might not suit every Christmas tree. I think a more rounded version could also look amazing and might be a more versatile option for different tree styles. Good work!

Yes it's not exactly round, to avoid radical overhangs that would print poorly. To make it round like a ball I would have to split it in the middle and print the two halves separately, then assmble them. Would look more Christmas-like, but I wanted a quick no-assembly solution for now ;-D

Looks like we've got the same filament ;-)

Hi Charles! Any updates on the prusa compatible 210mm version? ;)
I am close to buying a Bambu printer to get your models to the size they were initially designed.
@Schiemanskie_163694
Hi!
You're right, it must be a bit frustrating for Prusa users.
I'll get started on the 210mm versions of my latest lamps next week!
Hello Charles. Thanks for amazing desings. In the new version, the 2 pieces do not rotate and fit together. We have to push them in. Is this the design or did I get the wrong print?
ps. it's not a big problem. i just wanted to know
@chregaud_1573771
I just resized the shade of the small version, making sure the gap is exactly the same as on the large version. So it should fit in fine now.
@chregaud_1573771 thanks for help
