Will this work on a Switchwire?
@CAB_rangoon_447562 Do not know
Hello,
Thanks for this design, the upgrade seems really good to me.
Is it possible to get the .step files (or even better Solidworks) in order to work on it.
Thanks
What bolts are you using to attach both parts together or is it single long bolt? M3 or m4?
@vasyl83_1122783 m3 seemed too loose but m4 doesn't seem to fit
Please read the previous version install guide has suggested in the description. 2 x M3 x 8mm long bolts inserted into two M3 heat sets. Best Boothy
Knomi V2 Display Mount for the Voron Stealthburner by boothyboothy | Download free STL model | Printables.com (edited)
Easy to print , fits perfectly to stealthburner , very good cooling. Thanks a lot for your design
Works Great for my needs, i made the 100mm version, the instructions are very clear and easy to understand.
Could you please give me the discord link?

Great design!! I only used the frontal face and attached it using @francq’s remix. It would be great if you create a version without the need of using threaded inserts, just the M3 hole could be enough. Thanks!
I made a mount for my Rook and used this case. I can't remix it sadly. Love the case though!

Where should I put the antenna for the Knomii?
Otherwise nice and clean design.
I have uploaded a version for the V2, this has been tested with the generic mount but not the EVA3, you will need to reprint the LGX mount plate to suit included with the uploads. Any problems please contact.
I have added a few screen grabs at the end of the images, thanks Boothy
I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you. I was about to give up on the Knomi until I see your model. Since I have the orbiter 2 extruder the mount provided by BTT makes the extruder press against the fan and don't let it move. Yours work extremely well and as you state the air flow is much better even as the original. Thanks again great job. (edited)
The finicky retaining clip on the original BTT STL started failing after around 100 hours which made it conflict with my part fan. Tried this out as a replacement and it's remarkably better.
- Much better part cooling
- Easy to remove and replace or update Knomi if needed without disassembling the entire SB main body.
- Thoughtful quality of life feature - there's a dedicated guide hole to access and press the reset button on Knomi
- the part fan retaining arm has been modified from stock so it doesn't conflict with toolhead boards. My SB2209 fits much better with more room for wiring and my main body no long has a gap when mounted to the rest of the toolhead.
- Overall assembly and wiring was much easier than the original
Only downside I see is that it sticks out slightly further forward (not a problem in my case) and printing it requires a fair bit of bridging which I can't quite get to look as nice as I would like.
Thanks, keep me posted
@boothyboothy sadly I have gone back to the V1, V2 has different towers between the KNOMI mount surface the Fan area, which I'm getting very quick cooling during printing which is causing a warp that brakes the towers even with the supports there. I think it would be better to make that initial bridging solid right away instead of tappers so it cools solid and doesn't want to pull up on the front face. I tried 4 different slicing for it and the supports print perfectly and are beautiful, and there are lots of other tweaks on V2 that are great. But I just can not cleaning print it, so I'm just going to use V1. Have a V1 printing right now to make sure it's not an other issue, but I'm pretty sure it's how it's cooling once the bridging starts since it take multiple layers to get it fully bridged.
by any chance will there be support for a Knomi 2?
@boothyboothy I use Orcaslicer but thats a good idea, I'll give it a try! Your Knomi 2 SB is a great model by the way... just would like to print another with my own supports. Thanks for the good advice🙂
Images from Orcaslicer, no problem
Can you make a body for the Rapido UHF?
@JerryMac_879436 Much improved version with Rapido UHF included here and linked above: Kenny Mod 2 for the BTT Knomi Display by boothyboothy | Download free STL model | Printables.com
@boothyboothy Thank you, you are awesome!
Awesome little trays that do the job well. Snap fit securely and keep all the little bits from walking away. A must if you are building a new printer!
