I standardized on these MX Anywhere mice at home and finally tired of my Mac's Magic Mouse due to frequent disconnects and that stupid charging solution. With a mouse on the road, I needed a protective case and this design is perfect. A brass picture hook nail was the ideal size. PLA, 0.2mm structural on a MK4S.
would have to look for that brass hook nail. I’m still using a bread wire 😂 as i haven’t had time. You have a link to one?
@bapski They were just some random 30lb / 13.6Kg hooks I had laying around. A bit of dremel love later and the hinge rod is perfect
Turned out really good I just cut the top part to allow the spool spindle in and out with ease and added a retention clip. Works fantastic thanks for your remix. (edited)
@stespell_2573802 glad it worked out well for you.
Super sturdy. I have learned how to work around the closed loop. For me it would have been easier to get the spool of filament off. But thank you for showing us this model. The winder works and is stable.
Printed in PETG so it'll hold up better in the car. Thanks for sharing!
Do I need to sharpen the steel rods to fit inside the nozzle better?
And if so, how? (edited)
@Limited_Zed_606476 you may have to cut your rod to make it a sharper tip and fit your noozle. I think a wire cutter tool should work or pliers. (edited)
