Its a cool idea and design but I cannot get the parts to fit together. I've been sanding for 20 minutes and still wont fit. In the end I remixed it and reduced the tab size: https://www.printables.com/model/853193-low-poly-ear-wall-decoration-and-hook-remix (edited)

This is great. All the other bobbin holders here are made for loads of bobbins, but I've only got a few and so they would waste a lot of space. So it's good to have a little holder that I can just throw in the sewing box.

Thanks!

Printed these for the seamstresses in the family. They loved them!

Why don't you have an STL for the opposite side?

@Polikonomist_17080 You only need to mirror it in your slicer, but here you go, I just published a mirrored version

Works well only with hardcover books. Almost invisible, but putting books back into library and clipping them there is difficult. (edited)

@darktatka Yes it's clearly a bookend you would use for those books you don't move very often : most of them 😭

Great model, thank you! Printed at 70% scale.

Lots of fun as a puzzle! Tiling them takes some work, but making other patterns is just as fun too. My 5yo has also been enjoying them. Nice model! (edited)

very stylish, i'm surrious how well they hold up over time on a heavy drawer.

@rene_144588 I think this design, although it's not too weak should not be mounted on heavy drawers. I could design a sturdier version

Very nice! This is the 60 mm (or two fingers) version I put on some Ikea boxes I got used for cheap.

Exactly what I've needed. Perhaps a tighter fit woul'd be better.

5 stars for V1. Works perfect for long time now.
But 0 stars for V2. Printed it 2 times and it just breaks into 2 parts. No chance to use it. Used Extrudr XPETG.

@bomas_ulz thank you for your rating and comment!
Sorry to hear you had problems with V2. Do you mean it broke even before you had a chance to use it?
There is indeed a weak point at the junction of the two parts, but mine printed easily and have been in place and used with no problem for 3 months now.
I printed mine with Prusament PETG, maybe it got better layer adhesion?

@ateldsign Maybe Extrudr XPETG is not that good. Broke as soon as mounted and used.
