After many revisions it is completed. Decided not to complicate things with a realistic version so kept it with the shape and details of the animated one.

A great add to the collection. I went with a different look, more tv/movie style. Came out perfect but it won’t stop me from making another one like the show. Just need a holster for it.

Where I'm at with the LD phaser. More rounded curves and correct emitter shape. Similar size as the boomerang. I like these proportions but not sure. Let me know what you think.

Rough draft of a "realistic" Lower Decks phaser

Of course clunky too

Will you be making 2 different versions? A realistic version and a chunky cartoon version? I feel a real cartoon version would be the one most people would want, however, the realistic one would be great for the Lower Decks cross over episode.
