I studied medical engineering and currently I am working as leading hardware designer for a small medical company. Most of my work is eCAD based, so I am far better in designing PCBs than mechanical models. But eCAD/mCAD co-design is a huge topic as well so I learned to use fusion a few years ago to print prototype cases and stuff like this.
