very usefull thanks !
Perfecto diseño y ajuste, preparado para s19e con funda ajustando los parámetros en Fusion 360
Thanks friend! You build exactly what I had in my mind, probably better.
Fantastic design! I've had my HeatLink installed for a few years now, but we're having a new kitchen fitted and when i was removing the old tiles i saw the installed used one of the nest screws into one side of the pattress box and a rawl plug into the wall for the other side. I want a neat and tidy installation for the new kitchen and I was all set to design something and then i found your model, amazing work & fits beautifully!
Could i suggest two small tweaks though?
1. My installer connected everything with Wago connectors, meaning my pattress box is bulging with wiring and connectors, so much so that when i attached your model, the button on the front of the HeatLink was being pressed due to flexing of the case. Could you maybe supply a design with 5 and or 10mm of clearance on the rear side to allow for a bulging backbox due to poor installation?
2. This is me being lazy, but i didnt want to undo the rats nest of wires, so i modified the design to have a small cut out on the bottom edge so i could slide it over the existing wires without having to undo them all. Easy enough for me to do with blockers in my slicer, but maybe not for everyone.
@ChrisHawkins_847618 Cool, glad it was useful. Regarding your suggestions, I'll probably just upload the f3d file next time I'm in Fusion and people can make whatever changes they want themselves...
Just randomly remembered about this. Uploaded now.
@JayD_690078 thanks 🙂
Very well designed, works super well. Best SD card storage I've printed by far.
Works well, printed with a strange pattern on top as I was trying a new style of top surface, so ignore that! Different texture from different print orientations gives it a bit of an odd look, but it works better for the function. (edited)
Printed from PETG 0.4mm nozzle; 0.2mm layer height, input shaping, otherwise with PrusaSlicer defaults. Used supports everywhere and a letter opener to remove them from the latch.
@GVMaryland_69404 Shouldn't need supports if you're printing it in the correct orientation.
Very nice design. I use them for my Ikea Samla batteries and labelt them with "Full" and "Empty".

these boxes are great, printed several and going to print more, locking mech is great
Would you mind sharing the CAD file for this? I'd like to remix it for another style of indicator.
@ChadwickVon_35480 Maybe you haven't noticed but there is a parent to this model available here: https://www.printables.com/model/304757-parametric-casebox-with-clip-latch . It doesn't have the dial indicator cutouts obviously, but you'll be remodelling those anyway so...
Hey Tim - thanks for the design!
I`m still trying to figure out the best placement on the printbed for least amount of support, any hints?
cheers
Philip
@DaPhlip_394914 Just print it as it comes in the file, i.e. pointing up at 45deg. It shouldn't need any supports, assuming your printer/slicer etc. is all setup and configured correctly...
I thought it might be a nut substitute, so I made it.
By the way, what is a "building block bush" ? LOL!
Thanks. (edited)
@Sknown it's a name for it that doesn't include the L word.
