great!
Almost finish making this. I found an interesting article on cyclone design which lists what all the critical dimensions should be as ratios. For example your outlet tube sticks down further than is optimal.

I ended up cutting the larger parts in half in Netfab to print. Looks like a great design.More work to do on seams.For now just used CA Glue. Thanks Thom
The perfect Valentines Day gift! This vase suits the 3D printed rose I made. =) Thank you for the design.
@lumennovum_571639 glad you like it! looks cool with that rose also!
Love this model ! Printed on TTYT3D fast colour gradient rainbow.
@prof_imaginee_377168 looks cool!
@RZangari_525645 glad you like it! hey, is that actually holding water? Hmmm most vase/spiral mode prints don't always print out water tight! did you seal it or did it actually work for you?
@Thomllama Yes, it's actually holding water. The bottom leaked like a sieve, that is why I printed the silver base and sealed it with acrylic glue.
Works well enough. I printed both halves in PLA, the top one was not screwed in all the way. Gravity holds it in place, but I can lift it up to swap out rolls. The only complaint is its difficult to get positioned to drive the screws in.
Looks great - I wonder if you have a version that can hook up to a shopvac hose
@Kimon_62724 you can hook a shop vac to the stock unit, though I guess it still may want the angle to the side. I got to say, I used it with a shop vac and a full dust extraction system and the fan from the planer was stronger that the vacuums were. they caused more issues. I just shoot it out the door now! But I live in an area with enough property/space so it's not an issue with neighbors and such. I guess I can make one for standard 2" hose if you want? (edited)
@Thomllama That would be awesome if you can make one for a 2” hose. Thank you!
10/10 worked so good! I had just started measuring the inside of a pez head in order to cad it, but then I figured let's look in somebody's done this already.
thank you so so much for saving me hours of work
@Elli_1141839 glad it worked for ya!
