Did one in PETG. Probably should've set there to be one good seam; the surface turned out a little pimply at points. Seems it'll protect just fine though!

@nfd_775158 Thank you for uploading a make! I am glad you like the model.
Printed without support an came out very crisp, even with 0.2mm layer hight. I guess one has to add some support if the model is scaled up but this size is just perfect anyway. I also like its "silent-menacing-dead-eye-stare" a lot. You cant capture it on picture but the real one has some aura to it XD
Realy nice work. Thanks for sharing :) (edited)
@firstgizmo Thank you for posting a make and a rating! I love seeing makes. What color/brand of filament did you use? It really looks the part.
@ThirdDimension Nvm :)
The material used is Material4Print PLA "copper". Had it laying around for ages and never used it for something special. Finally i found the perfect use for it
@MariaK_1114796 That's indeed an awesome print! It never crossed my mind to print in it in copper, but I might have to start my own printer now. Thank you for posting your make and the 5-star review. You made my day!
@yehonatnrich_1838100 Thank you for posting a make!
Exceptional detail. I printed it with Bambu Labs White Marble PLA which I think adds to the look very well.
@TMZedd_591291 What an amazing print. The white marble looks great. I am glad you like the detail in this model. Thank you very much for posting your make and the picture of the make!
do you think you could put it as 3 different stl files instead of one big part on the stl file.
@Heersert_220577 Amazing! Thank you for posting your make.
@ThirdDimension No problem, its a nice model and will be used as a pen holder in the office of my wife :)
@Gerber Thanks for uploading a make. It's great to see that someone is actually benefiting from this model.
i like your assumption verry much that its verry comon to have a Narwhal tusk walking stick at hand or at least a 3D scan of such ^^
@firstgizmo I like your way of thinking!
Might I interest you in one of my other models?

Thank you for the kind comment :)
@ThirdDimension Never mind, i adore this kind of stuff allready.
Pleasant to have someone with some humor around as well XD
Looking back, really not sure how I got along before without this.
@Phant_plastic Don't worry, I am here to help you. As killing a narwhal for its tusk might be frowned upon in your area, may I interest you in one fine plastic specimen? https://www.printables.com/model/270532-narwhal-tusk-walkingstick-with-walrus-ivory-handle
Thanks for the quick response. I'll have to look into to merging parts inside Prusa slicer (or Meshmixer maybe). I wasn't planning on having anything inside (printed in vase mode) ... and adding a base that can be sewn into a hood.
@CraigTinson_555685 Thank you so much for uploading this picture!! And what a stellar paint job! Just wow!
I've based the handle on originals made of walrus ivory, as seen in old paintings. There are examples at auctions with sterling silver handles. If you ever create an alternative handle, please send me a picture of the result.
Might I interest you in the stand I made?

Thanks again, and have a great ev ening!
@ThirdDimension I use it too much for it to be a presentation piece.. so won't need the stand... but still.. it looks nice! I can find my way around blender so might have a go at making a different handle.
Thanks again!
