Perfect design ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If I ever own a Simson, I’m definitely going to use this keyholder.
Printed in Prusa Galaxy Black PLA with Fuzzy Skin and Scarf Joint Seam enabled. (edited)

@donfrechdachs_136720 Wow, thank you, my friend! I can’t wait for us to hit the road together on our Simson DDR mopeds, reliving those nostalgic moments with every turn. It’s going to be an unforgettable ride!

Very poor fit. Even with force, you can hardly put the two parts together. It is as expected because when you look at the construction you can see straight away that no thought has been given to how a 3D printer works and whether it can be printed without any problems.
But since this is only a remix where the base has been changed, the user cannot do anything about it. I will probably create a remix myself where everything fits perfectly

Just finished making my deej and it looks and works great! This was my first electronics project so it took some trial and error to get things working but I'm happy where it ended up!

Rather than using the AutoHotKey script provided I assigned the buttons as follows, which made my buttons media pause/play, next track, and previous track. This works for the most part, unless you are trying to watch youtube and listen to music, but thats not something I intend to do.

button_mapping: 0: 4274 1: 4272 2: 4271

As a side note for future builders, since the main knob is inverted compared to the others make sure to swap the polarity of the big knob to the others so they all work in the same direction. Also, instead of the large washers for weight I hot glued some heavy fishing sinkers which were a lot cheaper.

Very cool design. I enjoyed building it, thanks for the provided details!
I modified the buttons slithly, so I could create some vinyl sticker icons for a more cleaner look.

I wrote my own code for the volume mixer, also to play around with the Arduino Task Scheduler library and added some logic to dim the leds respective to the knob position: https://github.com/al3xst/deej-arduino-volume-mixer

@Keks_579660 wow :) love it to see the project coming to life. thank you for your make

So how big is the board on this. Instructions says 850x380mm (33.5inx15in) board but the blueprint is 46.81x33.11 inches. Is the blueprint just got a lot of overhang ?

@Billy_1794955 board is 850 x 380mm. the blueprint has a lot of overlaps at the edges

Nice project, made it as a birthday present.

I changed the corner for the plug for a USB-C Input and added a mount for a board with an esp8266 for easy wled controls. (https://kno.wled.ge/) (Ignore the jst connector in the pic, not enough space in there :D)

Also painted the corners of the panels white and used black screws for a clean look.

With your instructions it is a very nice build, spend about 4-5h and most of the time was just soldering.

A few Ideas:

- If possible make all the triangles the same dimensions, I didn't mark them after printing and wasn't sure about the right dimensions.

- I'm not sure if it's a good idea, but maybe add the screw holes for the frame to the template. I had a bit of trouble with exact aliment of the two panels and frame with all the holes, so the frame bents a little.

- Maybe move the heat inserts in the black parts so you can screw through the transparent ones into them to connect everything. I had to glue the black and transparent parts because of slight deviations. But then the leds are in the way... I'm not sure, maybe you have an idea. :D

@UltraBrot_829713 Wow i love it :) Thank you for your make.
You are right some solutions from my side are not so perfect. Maybe i find some time to to fix those points :)
Thank you for your feedback
Hope the person was happy with this present

Could you upload the STEP file for this? The upper mounting point needs a little adjustment to bring the cable verticle for my setup—VZ hexturdort plus with the latest xol release.

Very easy to print, fun to play with.

I didn't check their dimensions before printing, they are fairly big (22 mm). Next time I want to try to print them more like a regular dice (say 15 mm) and to see if it's still "rigged" enough. (edited)
