Thanks, missing from the factory

I agree, the default spring tension is awful. It chews up any filament you send at it. Usually not enough to be a problem but sometimes it comes back to the CFS all messed up.

Works perfectly good, no need for screws at all. Thanks for your work!

I used moostape instead of printing TPU seals, works good too.
Also used a 1.5m AMS cable (5$ Ali) which was laying around.

All printed in Polylite ASA Jet-black.
2 walls, 10% gyroid infill, 3 bottom-, 5 toplayers, support on bed only, 35°.

@SirBigBuddha_535017 looks awesome. Thanks for sharing your build. I put the screw holes not knowing if they'd be necessary, and when all was said and done, they were not. But they're all hidden, so I left them for anyone who chooses to use them anyway.

Hi
Thank you for a nice design that serves several purposes.

Probably looking in the wrong places, but I'm not able to find the STL for the frontbar between the left and the right side.
Where do I find it?

@EJ_885 Apologies, it was accidently deleted. It is back up now

I've done the print. Was the huge print i've ever done. Tooks nearly 3kg of ABS. And a few grams TPU.
But ---> annoying design failures:
1. the CFS do not fit into the rear cutouts for the feets. The CFS hub would need a cutout too... I don't think I would like to spend another 1,5kg ABS again to reprint the rear parts :-(
2. the original CFS cable is too short. I'm looking for a spare CFS cable, but can't find a working one. The quick & dirty solution was to unscrew the rear access panel for the CFS conntectors and leave it this way until I find a longer CFS cable.
3. The holes in the dash are to narrow for the gasket pins. I had to cut off the upper end of the gasket pins - not a big deal, but maybe you can doublecheck the dash in the main parts. Printing the Parts 1-4 with your supports as mentioned, should set supports blockings in the pin hole parts from Part 1-4.

Nevertheless: a great design and fits perfectly onto the printer. The drawers are useful. The space for the build plates are fantastic - swapping 3 flexplates without fuss is superb. Tending to 3 stars for the points mentioned above - but the print is worth a bonus * - so for now 4 stars, buddy.

If someone can help out with the CFS cable issue, I would be very appreciated.

Let me think about a beer - for now I'm crying about 2 kg ABS and 2 days consumed for the rear parts... maybe after x-mas. ;-)

*Printed with K2 Plus Combo*

Update: 4* for the fixes + 1* bonus for sharing the great riser. (edited)

@SuNSHiNe78 well the 3 way addition is an addon that causes the intended functionality of the machine to fail. Not the other way around. But either way, you can also get the Cable from bambu labs for cheap, if you are also ordering other items from them to get free shipping.

Glad the feet resolve the issue for you

@SuNSHiNe78 just so you know Bambu ams cable is the same style i am using one for the cfs that is located on self under the printer

I am having the weirdest issue attempting to print this and was wondering if you had any tips? Basically, no matter what I do, after it finishes the last letter of CARBON I get print failures on the wall, but not on the layers below or above. I have attached an image to demonstrate. I have tried 4 separate prints with different settings including 100% infill, the failure is in the same exact position each time. Pic attached.

Had to drill holes on the fan mount and the bottom part for routing wires.

Fans are 24V, so they can be connected directly to the Printer PSU.

just printed this - looks great thank you! wanted to ask where you wired this up to and what control pin you're using to control it in the config? thanks in advance!

@Stranula ya I got mine running on a 120v > 24v converter with a smartplug so I just have alexa turn it on and off when I'm using ABS lol

@GhoztL Nice. Someone will find a pin to connect to eventually, but it won't be me.

Designed for printing. Love to see it. Great job

I like that these comes in multiple hole sizes, so it can fit a wider variety of tools, I am using it currently for some screw drivers, sharpies, and some pliers, but I will probably print more of them. My only complaint is a small gap for the bolt and the base, so feel I had to print with supports, but it does look nicer on the multiboard.

Thanks for sharing your print. Bolts cannot be printed in full in this orientation due to the overhangs. Hence, the bottom section of the bolt is cut off an made flat. As outlined in the post, there is a modified supplied to support this section for proper printing.

Printed with Sunlu PLA+ on MK4.

It does also works with my JSAUX 15W Mag-Safe adapter.

@Stranula Removing the support took a moment but was not an issue at the end... After pushing it into the multiboad it seems to be stable. Maybe I can provide more feedback in the future

@Robul_682642 Thanks for the feedback. Guess I should've noted that the support doesn't need to be removed. It has enough flexibility to do what it needs without removal

Thanks for sharing the CAD, this is ingenious!

I've got ~5 projects where I want to have a connector attached, and this design is perfect and super easy to implement.

I'll eventually get around to uploading my remixes, but wanted to say thanks here!

@JBray Just saw your make of this. Thank you for sharing. I'm glad it worked out for you.
