@LMMerwin Thanks for the question! Unfortunately my printer is in need of repairs at the moment so I can't print it to show you. I'll do my best to describe it. These are used as a pair of standard long hair pins (think chopsticks) for holding a bun or other hair style in place. The head or a segment of the snake then goes in the C-shaped holder to clip it in place. Does that make sense?
