What orientation should the body be printed in?
What orientation should the body be printed in?
also this is the wrong size
Well done :)
Its a bit to short for a bat to fit in had to adjust the size a good bit
@jenn80wal_2432609 model was designed around the bat linked in the description. Bat sizes may vary.
FYI I'd been hacking on a multi-pen case/insert for my wife and started with standard craft store felt just elmer's glue sticked into it (easy to remove with water for cleanup when I wanted to try other things). The felt is nominally 1.6mm thick.
For my last round I upgraded to velveteen contact paper sheets from Amazon. The "polish" factor is a bit higher, and the actual velveteen ends up about 0.5mm thick. I think this would be a perfect box to use some on.
Printed really nicely and went together without a problem. Fantastic design, looks really nice and displays the pen in a very interesting way when open. It does take a little practice to get used to opening it but otherwise its a great design.
Cut SVG at original scale for the side pieces and with the H scaled to 10mm for the handle text. Worked perfectly. Thank you! (edited)
That's a good idea as model for CNC machining or to make a cast version, thanks for uploading it. For sure, any FDM 3D printed part won't stand a chance in real use.
