Nice, should even be the desired way to mount those chrome parts
Great looking model - printed in Galaxy Black PLA and Carmine Red transparent PETG for the base.
I've been battling literally for years to keep my Jabra Evolve 65 Headset from slipping off if I got up from my desk and tried to move around (or even leaned over to grab something from a drawer)! Found this almost by accident and downloaded and printed and it snapped right onto my headset and it.......WORKS!! I can still make my headset slide if I try and do jumping jacks or such but as far as general use this solves the problem. Great design, fit perfectly, solved a very aggravating issue with these headsets! Thank you!! (didn't bother to turn on supports, that's why the tail end of the part looks so rough, it was printed in the air!)
Thanks for your positive comments. I had the same issues which lead me to do this design.
Basically there is no need for printing with support. But due to the thin shape maybe you had an issue with adhesion to the bed.
You are correct, I was so glad to have it and start using it I didn't even look closely at the end. I used a skirt and it did indeed come loose from the bed and warp up a bit which caused the malformation. It's on the back of my head, it works great as is, I'm not going to even bother reprinting with a brim! Thanks again!
Awesome idea. I've had my 65 for so long and it's still my go-to headset for my phone. The only downside has been that it won't stay on well while walking at all, much less while house cleaning. So I'm definitely going to request this job on my local library's printer.
I also found this by accident, while trying to see if anyone had a model for the interior piece of the headband. Mine is cracking just above the silver piece, as you can see in the pics. Since you do have the exact same type of 65 that I have, any chance you would be able to make model for that piece?
