Thank you for this nice model of a 1967 formula racecar. I had 2 issues during assembly. 1) To install the front suspension base, I had to use my drill on the body to drill the holes deeper to accept the 8 mm pins. The 2 holes are not deep enough in the body. 2) The simulated bearing has a too big internal diameter. I had to use electrical tape and do 3 turns on the 4 shafts to keep the wheels captive.
@BenoitLussier thanks for your amazing feedback! We will try to update the model in the future to ensure a good fit!
I'm about to start printing this awesome looking car is it possible to split the wind screen from the body in the Monocoqu file I'd like to make a perspex part or resin printed part, Also would love to see a 1967 Brabham F1 to go next to it (edited)
@Evil08S_337611 I had this question before, but the way I modelled it, it isn't really easy to just split it sadly.
For more cars, stay tuned, as I got a lot of cool stuff planned for the future!
I love the design, but could you include a model with a bottom part?
Or a piece to screw on.
The pencil holder idea is great, but with this design it is not possible.
Thank you very much
@JoaquinCanale_352318 thanks! I plan on making a base or display stand for it! (edited)
Such a great model!!!
I also really want to use it as a pen holder on my desk I made a cap to screw on, but it never looked right so I printed it with a base on the inside. I think it looks good now as it still looks like your original model.
