My glue gun didn't quite fit in the orientation shown in the photos, but I managed to make it work. Needs a bit of something to stick it to the bottom, but grips the sides of my glue gun much better than default (my glue gun is 22-23mm wide).
More importantly, it's a much smaller and easier part to replace if the hot glue deforms the PLA.
