I'm printing one, but I'm wondering what I would need to change to have the 6" round clip fit a 4" container. Thanks! This saves me a huge headache

@ChrisJones_802196 Are you good with Fusion 360?

It would go something like this:
- Select the 6" Round component in the tree, and Copy.
- Use "Paste New" to make a copy with no link to the original.
- Rename the new copy to 4" Round.
- In the 4" Round component, edit Sketch1
- There's an 80mm dimension that defines the distance to the center of revolution. It should be slightly larger than the radius of the container. Change it to something like 55mm.
- The resulting object will probably look pretty small. On the timeline, edit the first Revolve operation for the 4" Round, and increase the angle of revolution to something like 20 degrees.

I would have done all this myself, except I don't have any 4" Round containers to test with. If you find values for the radius and angle of revolution that work well, let me know and I'll add them to the model officially.

Works beautifully - except on one "generation" of GlassLock containers that had this slightly wider hinge design, pale green seal and flower motif included in the molds.

No problems to report with blue, red, or purple seal lids that share the narrower hinge style.

Printed with Polymaer PLA Pro. Fit is great. No more rattle.

Works great no more rattling tools!

I just printed this for an old Tormek 1200 and it is great. I appreciate all your hard work, fitted together perfectly.

Printed in ABS with intention to glue parts together but parts fit more accurate than expected. Even it was hard to assemble them. A bit of color added and modified original handle to fit. Anyway - great design.

@MBTECH_382003 Looks great!

Reusing the handle from the wheel dresser seems like a nice idea, but you'll find you're unable to install it on the sharpener's support bar. The support bar needs to run through that cross hole.

@RonHarding Yes - I know that. Made only to check what it looks like and take photos as at the moment I can't find proper screw for it.

The print fits the advertised PCB perfectly and works as designed, except that I couldn't get my clear filament to act as a light tube. Also, I wanted my phone to be at an angle so that I could see the screen more easily while it's charging, so I'm adding a remix. (edited)

@ungood Cool remix! I'm glad you could still find the charger module.

Too bad the light pipes didn't work. They worked really well for me. Is it possible you didn't push them in far enough? The bend in the passage might make it snag on the layers before it's all the way through. You could try pushing it through before assembly, to see if it makes it out the other side.

I was thinking you might try an angled cut on the end, but that might actually reduce the effectiveness of the pipe. The flat end of the pipe needs to be "looking at" the LED.

@RonHarding I'm not too disappointed on the light pipes, since I can't really see the lights with the cell phone in place. TBH, I didn't try too hard, it's probably a combination of what you said about pushing it in further, and the color/transparency of the filament I have on hand.

Worked great as a negative volume used for a drink coaster.
