Printed in Grey PLA on a Neptune 4. Overall really happy with the print, though I had a few issues.
The supports really stuck to the inside, and I still need to clean up a number of places along with the seams from the print. The antennae won't stay in place as is, but that may be tuning settings with my printer (still working things out, I've only had it a week). In fact, when I printed those, I had my z-offset set too high, so that might be most of the issue. I re-sliced it so that one print had the antennae and the mounting inserts, and the other was the three pieces of the hull. The small print took about 30 minutes, the large took about 6 hours.
One of the antennae (one of the bottom ones) did not have a triangular hole to push in to, which when I checked was not in the model. Since I was using model glue to secure the pieces anyway, I just clipped off the triangle pin from that antenna, sanded it flat, and glued it on where it needed to go. In the picture (facing forward) it was the bottom right one.
Next step is going to look up the original model and buy some paint to add some details to it, but that'll probably happen next weekend.
@Veloreyn_1142650 Glad you like it! The insertion triangles are admittedly fiddly, I'll take another look at the model to see if there are any errors that would keep it from showing up. Would love to see it once you've painted it.
Card boxes fit well, and lids are just right enough/will stretch into fit over a few uses. Overall I'm quite pleased with the designs. I haven't made the full box template yet, as I have some remixing to do for fitting some of my other custom components & containers.
But I will mention that the current design of the strategy card holder is nearly unopenable, imo. This is mainly because it lacks the lip of the other containers. As pictured, I had to cut some notches in it to give myself enough leverage to open it. (edited)
Thanks for pointing that out, @64bitcube. I've just uploaded an updated version of the SC box with the same lower lip the other containers have.
I'll note I'm not using the overall organizer anymore, as I've reorganized my game and am using the POK box for the player console parts which pack much tighter. Still using the parts boxes, and would love to see any remixes you have.
