Piece fit great, and is working well. I printed in PLA upside down at a 45 degree angle but think this could probably be printed unsupported in the normal orientation.
Would be cool if it was parametric, as I wish the opening was more oval shaped for my case, so it didn't extend so far into the pool, but that's a me thing.
The original cap still let air in, this works perfectly and I appreciate that it uses the existing O-ring. Thanks!
@ThomasMuhl_1399492 you're welcome. I've been thinking about making a shorter version as there's no real reason for it to be so tall.
How well do the pictures come out? I’m considering a remix to fit EF cameras (5d3) and would like to know how the results have been. Thanks so much! Great idea!
@Cuttin3ds Thanks. Hope it works well for you. As a precaution, I'd make sure it's not the only thing holding your camera. Printing doesn't have the strength of machined AL or injection molding. It's not the best, but I keep the camera strap draped over the finder scope; just in case. At least it won't hit the ground if the part gives way for whatever reason.
@OldCurmudgeon thanks, in PTEG, looks pretty strength, but i’ll follow your advice.
Thanks for posting, I just picked up a TC001 as well but it really needs some kind of mounting solution. P.S. I think you uploaded the wrong model here as it doesn't match the photo.
It would help if you share what phone it was designed for :)
@Kutilman_Yuri good point.
