Just what I needed for my ak, extends the rail over the dust cover
Is it the same size as a NUC?
@AndrewHayes_94312 please see other comment
At this stage it's not scaled correctly but the idea would be that yes it would be the same size as a nuc.
Currently this is a prototype as a proof of concept
Hi, I'm planning to print this but got some questions and appreciate if you can help with those:
1 - the back is oriented in the vertical? If so, are you using tree or normal supports?
2 - in the main body, in the back, there is a square hole which I assume is to fit the Bluetooth device. Any changes to make the piece to close it, in case I end up fitting it inside and use that fir/panel for the buttons?
3 - An other tips from when you printed it?
thanks
Head is normal PLA (old 3kg roll) while body is pla+ hence why the color tone difference but I will do some post production with prime and acrylic painting. The supports from body weren’t easy to remove but manageable without additional heat source.
Now need to start thinking what type of sound system fits in the body and how to make usage from those volume buttons. (edited)
@Ninja3dPrinting Did you manage to make the back part? The little rectangle to add the audio control buttons?
@PedroTavares_415606 personally I ended up leaving it out ....
I set the volume on the speaker and just left Alexa to manage it.
It was a post print decision that I never went back to gix
Simple and effective. I changed the dimensions of the model a bit. Printed with Devil Design PETG Bright Yellow.
The detail this printer gives it the dogs, I'm not to keen on my choice of gold though.
Thanks for sharing! Also I believe this is the original model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4035645
Scaled at 70%. I had to file down "revolver pin part 1" and "handle left" to allow the chamber to swing open, but otherwise it went together well
Fantastic project! Top printed in Bambu Lab Silver PLA, Matte Dark Red, Black. Used some acrylic paint to add the effects to the handle and other parts. 10/10 great model and fantastic project. Springs bought from Harbor Freight.
Great!, remixed it slightly to make it easier for printing on bed slinger
Hey, Peter…….. Watch your cornhole, Bud.
@Ninja3dPrinting it’s from office space. Movie.
Great model, but I had similar problems printing it as others. I'll upload my remix for others who have problems printing it successfully.
Still, great model - one of the best shaped pirate hats I've found, and the bottle topper base is perfect.
