Love it!!! I updated to fit my iPhone 15 max and it works perfectly!
This project has both strong points and a few downsides. First of all, it’s honestly the only model of its kind I could find—so kudos to the creator for making something unique and very useful! It’s also easy to print, which is a big plus. That said, the part was too large for the build plate of my printer (220 × 220 × 250 mm (8.66" × 8.66" × 9.84")), so I had to cut it. Of course, cutting it affected the structure and stability a bit. I printed it in black PLA+ (the only material I had), and the print itself came out fine. The real challenge was assembly: since the piece stands vertically, no glue I tried could keep it in place. As soon as I tried to use it, it would come apart. I had to resort to a generous amount of tape to hold everything together and hope it doesn’t fall on my head while dusting! Another issue, as you can see in the photo, is that the locking mechanism doesn’t quite fit tightly, so it doesn’t click into place like the original part would. Still, it does work, and for now, that’s good enough for me! Very thankful to have found this model.
This design was a perfect fix to my problem. This was very easy to print and use. My Hexa Lights no longer fall off my wall! Chef’s kiss!
