Just a code monkey who makes stuff and shares it. Lots of the programming principles apply to my designs. "Do one thing and do it well" is my go-to. Universal tools are never as good as purpose-built ones, but being able to adjust designs reasonably well is key also.

BIG on open source! Creativity starts with inspiration, and sometimes simple is beautiful. Too many bells and whistles and you can't even hear the music. Often find myself seeing shortcomings in other designs and going "I'll just fix the damn thing myself" then publishing the results.
