Wheres the blue part?
Wheres the blue part?
@BarryGriffit_1175190 I added part B, from https://www.thingiverse.com/Ratm3at original design
Is there a typo in the Details page here? It calls for 3x M3 inserts and only 1x M4 insert. It makes perfect sense to drop M3 inserts into the inside of the Clamp piece for the "hinge" effect. I see the M4 going into the knob, but shouldn't it be another M4 on the Main Body piece?
@jcandthewires You are correct I updated the BOM
am I missing something? where is the spring that makes it go?
@Mike2121_307623 I just made that one yesterday. it works great
@shaunmorris_1988772 I remixed a skin for this OTF https://www.printables.com/model/914061-skin-for-uhltimate-otf-fidget-knife-3-part-knife (edited)
Ugly American here, is there a remix for 18 Ga?
@JeffSolomon_2311032 I have a little time coming up, so I'll get on to it. I don't use 18Ga nails so will rely on users to beta test the STL's for me
@Mike2121_307623 Or do you have the fusion3D file and be willing to share? I'm new to fusion3D and curious the best way 1 goes about combining the 2 models
Very slick idea to use the tool head magnets as a mounting point.
I had a helluva time working with the tiny magnets. I think I lost more than I used for the model.
Now I just have to figure out how to use it. 😂
Great idea with a proper fit and works a treat. In addition it also fits on my Ryobi AirStrike 18 Gauge Stapler R18GS18 too.
Would you be willing to share the original model. I was thinking of adapting this to work with 22 gauge and staples.
@JeradLittle_641021 I'm going to try to remix it with Whity's Rugged box, once I learn Fusion 360 https://www.printables.com/model/258431-rugged-box-parametric
@JeradLittle_641021 I finally remixed it with Whity's rugged box https://www.printables.com/model/758426-brad-nail-storage-box-v2 (edited)
is there any way to adapt this to fit with gridfinity?
@Prestige0011_2245884 No problem I'll work on it
Love the remix! Looks nice!
@Makes_by_Jake_385762 Thanks for the original
The print turned out quite nice! I can't post pics of it installed because it's actually for my mother in law, & she's excited for it. My only issue is the m3 nuts didn't line up with the holes & I needed to use my soldering iron to melt them into place.
Very useful, printed for my mom and she loved it. Thanks for the design.
I printed the model in white PETG and it seems to hold up nicely. However, I have two points that might be improved. First, the small loop at the end of the tool is connected with a very thin piece of plastic. I actually added some extra material in my slicer here (just a block that was merged with the rest of the model) to make it more robust. Now it feels like the small circle will not fall off. Secondly, the underside of the disc on top is very hard to print properly, with or without support. There is a lot of not-so-nice plastic inside that cavity. While more complicated, I think it could maybe work if these two parts were printed in two separate pieces, and maybe it was screwed in? Just a suggestion, though.
