@DarkMemeGod_1732545 Thanks :)

@guillermodarb_799209 There seems to be a technical problem with printables.com, unfortunately I can't help. You can contact the support or try to download again later. I can both download and open the file. (edited)
@Mici muchas grcias
I haven't printed the wheels in TPU yet, but so far this is an awesome model!
I will post some more pics when I get the wheels on it. (edited)
The DUMMb has landed...
https://www.printables.com/model/1021319
This is a simple version, still without LEDs and seat belts, which are still giving me a bit of a headache because I still couldn't hide the mechanics in the seat.
But after Makerworld started a “space exploration” contest, I decided to release a first version of the LTV.
If you are happy, please also thank MyStoopidStuff for his support and for not letting up until I finish the model :D
For all home automation enthusiasts.
Some days ago I told you about the HA integration for BambuLab 3D-printers.
Here are a few more inspirations for what you can use it for. I have redesigned my dashboard so that it looks like the A1 display. You can now also see what the printer is currently doing.
The second image shows printing from an external spool while no spools are connected to AMS lite.
Another little tip from the hobbyist's everyday life ;)
I've been using the BambuLab integration for Home Assistant for a while now and I have used it to create my own view.
You can find more information here:
https://github.com/greghesp/ha-bambulab
I have now tested the view for several days and it works very reliably.
What I will now do is set a reminder message if the printer remains switched on after printing. If there is no response, it will then be switched off automatically (WiFi socket).
Have fun!
Update 24. Oct. 24:
Currently there are some issues with this integration, because of some changes at the BL side. If you are affected, be patient. The developers are very active and are already working on a solution. You can give the current dev version a try, which should already work.
FYI
Last update before the release of the Artemis Lunar Terrain Vehicle (also known as Moon Buggy).
- The exterior is almost finished.
- The interior needs some minor visual changes
- The POC for the safety belts with retractor was successful. Now I have to hide the mechanism in the design
- The full suspension also works as expected
- I have decided on the “luxury” seats ;)
- The front and rear lights still need some improvement
- So far, all parts are easy to print and practically support-free
As always, there are no planned deadlines. The model will be published when it is ready.
Looks awesome! I can't wait to give my Dummy 13 Astronauts a cool set of wheels!
Awesome!
Surprisingly, I have made more progress with the moon buggy than expected these days and have now started test printing the ready parts.
Fortunately, the parts are very easy to print so far and the concept for the suspension also seem to work.
And yes, I know. The tires are mounted in reverse, as the direction of the tire tread shows ;)
Moon buggy update2, or the suffering of the perfectionist...
As soon as you are almost finished with the design (milestone 44), you are finally satisfied with the look of the seats, you happen to find other pictures that show the buggy from other perspectives and you start all over again because it is far from being true to the original.
There is still a LOT to do, far too little time and I have no idea whether it will work out in the end.
But hey, at least we already have the cheerleaders for the lunar grand opening party.
What always remains is the fun of designing ;)

This is an awesome design!
@MyStoopidStuff Mark Sinclair (Vin Diesel)? A ride in the style of “Fast & Furious”?
But then the fuzzy cube needs a better mount so that it doesn't fly away and he would also need a special space suit so that he can show off his biceps...haha
It's time for an interim report of the moon buggy....
I'm still a bit clumsy in designing with Fusion360, but the model is starting to look the way it should.
I'm experimenting with the seats because I'm not entirely happy with their look and I'm also working on other ideas.
- LEDs for headlights and rear lights
- Realistic seat belts that retract automatically
True to the motto “You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling”
Quote from Inception (2010), one of my favorite movies
Sell the design to a major defense contractor and it would go something like this:
NASA: "so this is just a scale model right?"
Contractor: "it's exactly as the contract specified"
NASA: (quickly checking the contract) "It's a model RIGHT?!?"
NASA: "The contract says it has doors, where are the doors!?"
Contractor: "probably reentering somewhere over Kansas by now"
NASA: "GET OUT!"
Contractor: "Can you validate my parking? Eh, never mind, we'll just invoice it."
fusion 360 is a bit clunky to figure out lol
Moon: NASA Asks Industry To Build New Buggies For $90 Billion Landings
https://www.forbes.com/sites/jamiecartereurope/2023/05/27/we-need-a-new-self-driving-moon-buggy-to-explore-the-lunar-south-pole-says-nasa/
Dear NASA,
while the industry only creates AI images, I have already taken up the challenge and started a POC for a moon buggy.
Ok, it may be a bit too small for most needs, but I have no problem getting paid at the same scale. Say 1:30 of what you would otherwise pay?
It's still bloody ugly, but the already printable model is just there to judge the proportions. I will make it as beautiful as in the picture at Forbes, I promise.
If you're willing to pay the cash at once, I'll add a cup holder and an ashtray for free.
It will take me a while to finish it and you should use the time waiting to think about other accessories:
- Trailer hitch
- 8 track cassette player with iPod docking station
- Windshield wiper with rain sensor
- Anchor
- Integrated camping stove
Best regards
Mici
@Mici Awesome, we will take one then! The mirror is a bonus, but really, if the moon cows stampede, the only thing a rearview mirror will do is give a bit of extra time for a prayer. I guess they could throw the anchor at 'em though.
Another user request for cheerleader stuff:
Pompom hands for DUMMY 13.
https://www.printables.com/de/model/985870
Rather intended as a fallback solution, because I couldn't think of a better
way to make pompoms ;)
Have fun.
Do you know WALL-E?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZ1CATNbXg0
One of my all time favorites, as I am still a kid at heart....haha
Do you know M-O?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiMFRMoxxEI
I'd love to see this guy (M-O) on my shelf. Does anyone know of a good model?
My POC with Tinkercad went horribly wrong and I'm still too inexperienced with Fusion360.
@MyStoopidStuff
YMMD! Thanks.
This is the repository: https://www.gambody.com/3d-models/m-o-wall-e
$16, but It would be worth it, as I WANT IT ;)
Gambody seems to be quite interesting, at first sight.
The license is quite crazy though "only 3 prints allowed".
As if other licenses weren't already enough to make you tear your hair out, lol.
DUMMY13 Megaphone V1.0

protest DUMMY13 :D
For my German followers…
3D printing produces a lot of waste but I happened to find a way to ease my conscience: https://recyclingfabrik.com/
For a year now, I have been sending them all my waste and empty spools and in return I receive some bonus points that I can use to pay when buying their recycled filament (up to 25% of the bill).
After deducting the points, a spool can even be cheaper than on Amazon and they also often offer coupons on their website. I like the idea of doing something useful and disposing of my waste responsibly.
I use rPETG/rPLA very often, except for parts that have to be particularly resilient. Of course you should check the K values for each spool. I rarely did that and hoped that the printer was smarter than me. Very often this was the case ;)
Almost all DUMMY13 on my uploaded images were printed with their filaments. For example, Spider-Man/The Tick/Captain America/Assassins Creed were printed entirely with their rPLA/rPETG on the MK3.
And of course the Jeep in the photo (A1 Mini): https://www.printables.com/de/model/791346
Just so you can get a feel for the quality.
I am not paid or benefited in any way for this post, nor am I an employee of RecyclingFabrik. But I thought this might be of interest to some.
Have fun!
Long time no see....
That's because I'm experimenting with Fusion360 and Ondsel ( https://ondsel.com/) and trying to familiarize myself with parametric design.
So I've put my current projects (and there are a hell of a lot of them) on hold until I'm able to design them with these tools.
The first simple model designed in Fusion360 is already online:
Soap dispenser mount.
https://www.printables.com/de/model/956704
As simple as the model is, I failed many times and learnt a lot while designing it.... that's the way it is when you start something new ;)
For some reason I don't get notifications when there is a new model from some of the designers I follow. (Printables bug?)
So you won't miss mine...DUMMY13 ladder.
