Perfect print. Goes great with the House Atreides' Royal Ornithopter lego set.

@christianmillion Nice combination! Really cool!
Please remember that it is very important to protect your Shai-Hulud from water. I plan to keep mine in a sealed jar.
@TroyJ_1475280 Exactly, it is very important to protect them. Thanks for sharing!
@EugeneLaw_1166687 Looks great! What is the name of the filament?
@georgmierau IEMAI two tone red/silver silk PLA
Freshly sequenced genome, but it escaped the lab before further post processing could occur. Gee, I hope it's not dangerous...
@ThatGuy I hope it's not dangerous too. BTW it looks pretty good.
@MiReplica3D_1186828 its only the deadliest organism to exist, i think well be fine.
This is probably one of the more useful designs out there so far I like the results even though some parts of the model can be a little bit on the more fragile side. but hey it works
Very cool. I am going to try and remix a bit of it.
Couple things I would change:
Making the front connection piece a bit more robust, I realize there isn't a ton of space there.
I would include a closed loop instead of the hook connection and use a flexible headphone strap instead of the 3d printed "strap" - couple reasons are I found it hard to lock it in perfect the shape and distance of my head and it doesn't flex. no need to reinvent the wheel on the top strap, but it is cool.
For the back portion I would change it from being a single clip to a two piece clip that distributes the pinch point on the solo knit from a just a single spot.
@DarvonBrown_1440332 Thanks for the words! I hope your mod turns out well.
Still has scale issues. See attached. I would also recommend pitching the front end up at an angle, otherwise the headset feels compelled to fall out / off. The concept looks good, but in practice it's going to need a lot of reworking. I realize it's hard without a headset. If you want to post up or share the cad files i'm happy to make some modifications for fitment.
@gtechraid_379805 Hello thanks for the feedback. The stand is intended to be used without the dust covertor. You should be able to fit the glasses into the stand mainly using the light shield. It is recommended to print the tip in a triangle shape for more support (I think you didn't print it). I use blender, I only have the blender file, if that helps.
@MiReplica3D_1186828 You have to rest the glasses on the green part, not the red part.
It mostly fits.
Rails are a bit tight and needed few passes with sandpaper, but it was not too bad, I think that fit would improve a bit with different shape of the rail that would lend itself better to printing process.
There are overhangs on sliding part of the stand, that probably does not need to be there. That part is hardly visible, so having a chamfer there instead of rounding would result in nicer finish.
Integrated backflap is a bit too short, I guess you also print the accessory one to improve on this, but it does work.
Default battery pack fits nicely into battery holder, but is loose in battery compartment in stand. IDK why this is the case, maybe for a different pack size?
I have ended up printing front support at 45 degrees angle heavily supported, it does improve fit and placement of the vision pro on the stand though, so well worth of effort. (edited)
Very cool design, I also really like the star lamp shade design you've posted that is like this. I'm curious what type of lamp is this made for? It looks it's made for some time of bulb assembly from Ikea or something. I didn't see anything about this on the original model's page either.
Hi, looks awesome, which kind of filament did you use? PLA is fine, or better to go with PETG?
A bit fragile and a bit hard to print due to long overhangs. But result is beautiful. Thank for design. Printed with blue PLA.
@PetrFsX Sorry for the delay of answer! Look Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
This is just the weirdest thing I've printed so far thanks for the model. I scaled it up 165% transparent PLA.
@DrewWalker_1442789 Cool! Thanks for sharing!
Biblically accurate piggy bank?
