Great print, printed without supports with the large hole side down. Thanks!

I love the look and use of a blower fan for this, but would it be possible to also include a cover for the open side?
@ShortCircuit8_225115 I need to one day do that. I glued a small piece of thin wood to mine, but I need to design it better one day. This was one of my first 3d designs and I've learned a lot since then.
@MattAndreko_38195 lol. Unfortunately my 3D design skills are fairly lacking
How has the overheating problem impacted the stability of the PLA?
@TheRealZam_331735 I haven't used it long term yet. I'm still in prototyping phases to get the shape right and functionality added. I imagine it won't get hot enough to warp the PLA, since that would likely burn you. But it could lead to the device shutting off sooner. More testing will be required.
@MattAndreko_38195 for PLA, the vitrification temperature is 55-60c. The Beam runs EXTREMELY hot, or at least mine does. Definitely hot enough if kept in a pocket or with any exposure to sunlight (which also destabilizes PLA). Mine CONSTANTLY overheats, even in ideal situations. As a note,I've actually had issues with PETg-max prints warping from crApple's MagSafe charger, and that material is supposed to remain stable at 85c.
