Very nice model! Had to scale it up by 3% to habe the magnets fit properly though, as a hint ;)

did you scale it in all axes?
If you have scaled it in z also, the magnetic force will be less (quite significantly, due to the distance beeing squared in the equation for magnetic force)
@LucasS I honestly don't remember anymore haha. working fine though!
Love this but would it be possible to make the outlet smaller to fit electrical cable drums on
i dont get it can u give me a better example of what you use it for
@Publicnames_254231 I designed it as a parametric closing/connecting mechanism.
The stl files (bottle) is just to proof the concept and its functionality (to test and tweak the clearance and other parameters) and to showcase the mechanism.
The parametric Fusion file can be used to add this mechanism to any connection or fastening use case. For example if you want to connect two printed pipes or rods.
If you lower the clearance of the parameter: "snapDiameter" it works like a one time closing mechanism. So you could bypass screws or glue.
Perfect as a demonstration of an innovative closing method. The lid holds really tight. For practical use, I would recommend adjusting the shape of the lid, which is now difficult to print, and also the walls are unnecessarily thick.
