This cooling design is so much of an improvement! I used your earlier design and was happy. But with your new iteration, its so much better on every axis!!! Love it! See photos, you will see the advantage (and yes the pictures are not very good sorry)
@GalYotam_329876 Both frame and cover changed. I had suppressed a few features and forgot to resume them in my CAD tool. The logo and some additional clearance at the top of the frame to help the frame cover rotate on easier we're suppressed. If you don't have any issue to install/remove the cover off the frame, there's no need to reprint the frame. The frame cover just has the added logo. Hope that makes sense.
Printed with eSun PETG on a textured bed. It looks very shiny in the pictures, it's a bit less in person. I may reprint in PLA because PETG is generally just glossy. I think I used the 3MF file from the author so used his seam settings.
It is a really well designed part! It went together really well! Watch the videos, read the instructions. Almost every problem I had was answered in those two places.
The one thing I had to fix was that a few nits on the bottom edge were preventing the screen from laying flat. That is just my printer settings for PETG not being great.
Prints flawlessly. As you can see in the picture, there are slightly improvements for overhangs. Tested with PLA, with installed silicone socks. Left original, right the tuned shroud. Thank you!
@TadeasTehan_402221 why not? Think of it as a group of objects in one file. Kinda like a zip file. They're separate objects in the STL and should be split in the slicer as indicated in the description.
