Im a German mechanical engineer working for a big tech company. In my freetime I design stuff for random problems that I want to optimize - mainly dedicated to issues in the household and for structuring my things.
I use professional CAD-Software and usually I aim to design the parts directly dedicated for 3D printing (e.g. without the need of support structures and optimized load carrying capability).
