I really liked the x-axis mount in this design, but was not super happy with the ball joint mount, as there's no real way to tighten it. I ended up making the hole larger and using a thumb screw design from here: https://www.printables.com/model/376326-camera-mount-prusa-mk3-mk4
Fits tightly. One has to place it precisely from the beginning :-) Thanks for the great idea and model.
Update: there was obviously no space between the front top cover and y-carriage linear bearing holder in my printer. As a result, the holder engraved a groove in the cover during printing. End of the groove caused crash detection and thus wrong home setting. Solution- I have removed the front covers. Back extrusions are ok. Note that there are various versions of MK3S with different holders - it may/may not affect you. (edited)
