The emotion you feel when you break the tie off while trying to remove the supports!!!!
@JuddPickett_113153 If you zoom in on the picture for this model, you can see the seem line and A glue glob. I understand your pain.
Long 17+ hour print. Very happy with how it turned out. Made it for my 7 y/o son's friend. It called for 5 colors but I made it 4 colors with color 1 &5 being grey
Filament used:
Bambu Labs Grey
Bambu labs Cyan
Elegoo White
Polymaker Pink.
Printed with Prusament PLA Galaxy Purple, Pineapple yellow, Galaxy Black, Galaxy Silver and Pristine White. (edited)
@coilsconnecti_321575 That happens automatically when you use one of the MMU printer profiles with the 5 different extruders. I didn't do anything special other map each color to the correct extruder number when my print started.
@ToddStansell thank you for your answer, I'm going to look at this in depth, I must have touched a setting or I didn't make this setting!!
Awesome!! are you coloring the object using Prusa Slicer software. I should be doing this myself. + if you are vertex painting in the Prusa slicer software is the gcode or are those manipulations transferable to other multi color platforms.
@PeterFarell
I use the painting tools in Prusa Slicer. Theoretically all slicers based off that code are compatible. The tediousness depends on the model's triangulation. This Shrek was fairly easy. The boundaries on the clothes needed some attention. I found the trick is picking the "make life easiest" default color.
The eyes, eyebrows, nostrils, belt, and frosting, were hand drawn. (edited)
How tedious is the color process. I have a Pallet Pro 3 and used the Mosaic software in the past to color models. IT SUCKED!! could only use it on a mosaic machine, sharing was absolutely non-intuitive and multi-step on both ends. So tedious...
