What almost nobody seems to think about is the fact that the silica containers that are placed in the hole in the middle of the spool cannot work if the spools are vacuumed, as there is no connection hole from the filament compartment to the axle hole in the middle of the spool. This means that no or only very limited moisture extraction can take place in the direction of the silica containers...
