I print it with that globe and use it as a wipe tower
Very solid boxes and functional regarding size. Would be nice if they had latchs for stacking, but it will serve its purpose one way or another. Printed on a Voron 2.4 out of abs on .28 layer height on no name abs.
perfect sturdy support, prevents overheating of my Dell Precision, and gets screen to better position (preventing pain in back a bit). i really recommend this model, add some rubber feets on dual side duct tape
@LukasWolf That is awesome! I'm happy this works for your laptop and thanks for sharing pictures of your print!!
I would have given 5 stars but there seems to be a weak spot in the print. I have printed the grip version both with a 0.4 and a 0.6 nozzle in plain PLA and PLA-CF on an X1C and the cover has failed in exactly the same place on both. You can see where the separation occurs in both photos from the face to the start of the bend within the print. I will look at trying to reinforce the print in this area and see what happens. It's a pity as the print is great in all other areas.
@JH_852298 Hi J.H, I checked all the settings I used and they are the same as the ones you gave. Did you manage to source your print file in the end? I am also wondering how you managed to get the print time as low as you have? I have not been able to get it under 7.5hrs as yet. Going to give it another shot today. Cheers
Hey @SubseaUK_108707 did you ever try printing this again?
