Hello I appreciate what you have created. I tried printing it right away, but to my surprise, it seems that there has been a specification change in this part of STECS. The gray knob in the photo is a genuine part. The shaft of the sensor seems to be shortened and combined with the shaft by a bearing that protrudes from the knob. When I measured it, The height of the protruding part is approximately 5mm The outer diameter is approximately 6.8mm as shown in the photo. The short shaft coming out from the inner Stecs sensor looks like a missing circle with a diameter of 5.5mm.
I have never made a model myself, but would you allow me to modify and use this model? Also, is it technically possible to add the shaft part to an STL file? In that case, what kind of software should I use? thank you.
@YFL411_2469549 Interesting, they seem to have changed the entire design of that part. You're free to modify the STL as you see fit, but I would love to have some further measurements of how that fitting looks (seems like a totally different T-shaped key) so I could update my knob so it fits this new revision of the STECS. When I measured it,
The height of the protruding part is approximately 5mm
The outer diameter is approximately 6.8mm as shown in the photo.
The short shaft coming out from the inner Stecs sensor looks like a missing circle with a diameter of 5.5mm.
I have never made a model myself, but would you allow me to modify and use this model?
